My family is currently in transition.  My husband lost his job from Lockheed Martin a year ago due to government cutbacks.  (About 1000 people in this small area also lost their jobs due to government cutbacks in defense spending.  This small area was heavily financed by defense spending.)  After 10 months of unemployment my husband, Rich, secured employment with another company, Avista, in Platteville, WI.  He has been in Platteville now for about two months.  Rich has an apartment and has been making friends in this new area.  We have no family in WI so that is a prayer concern when we move there.

The kids and I remain in Apalachin, NY as we await a buyer for our home.  Home sales are currently slow due to the economy.  Joshua is in fourth grade.  Rachel is in first grade.  I continue to work part time as a labor and delivery nurse at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY.  I am hoping and praying that the house sells next summer so that the kids don't have to move during the school year.  I am hoping to move the kids once school is out so that we can be together as a family.

Our local church has been very supportive.  My husband also has a very supportive church in Platteville.
God is providing for our family.  The kids and I are well cared for by our small church and my husband has received grace from his new church as well.

The kids and I were blessed to attend the Barnum and Bailey circus last weekend.  This small area in the Southern Tier of NY receives some top names as they pass through to other cities and towns.

Wish I could come out to visit the Philippines again!  It has been almost 20 years since I was last out there!
