I'm about to record my first album later this year after successfully raising over $10,000 to fund it.  I started a jazz fusion band just over a year ago and have been writing a lot of new music and playing gigs around Portland, Oregon with some of the best players in town (and among the best in the world for that matter).  I was motivated to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a professional jazz musician after becoming a testicular cancer patient two years ago and have Lance Armstrong's oncologist, Dr. Craig Nichols to thank for inspiration -- he's the doctor that cured Lance and convinced Lance to start the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  This music endeavor is my way to LIVESTRONG.  See http://www.mikeprigodich.com/kickstarter for details and listen to samples of my music on http://www.mikeprigodich.com or http://www.reverbnation.com/mikeprigodich
