Here’s a short note to wish all of you a very happy Thanksgiving. We want to ask the Lord for His traveling mercies, His protection and His providence upon all of you, whether you’re hosting or traveling to be with relatives and friends this Thanksgiving holiday. Among the myriad of ‘things’ we’re reminded to be thankful for at this time of year, we’re especially grateful for the many years of faithful, generous and even sacrificial support that many of you share with us on a regular basis. Your prayers and words of encouragement have sustained us, even though we’ve been separated by many thousands of miles.

We do have a wonderful praise report to share with all of you. Logan is recovering wonderfully from emergency hernia surgery and the whole experience of finding a new hospital, getting surgery scheduled and Logan safely on the road to recovery has been orchestrated by God. We can hardly imagine what would have happened had we been in Cambodia or even scarier, in our village home. His surgery was quick and his recovery has been smooth. Thanks so much for your prayers – even if you didn’t really know what you were being prompted to pray for at the time.

We will be traveling to Alabama to spend the holidays with Kim’s folks. It sure is an exciting time of year and we’re constantly reminded of all we have to be thankful for. May the Lord bless each and every one of you and may your holidays be wonderful.
