Bart and Emily Allen are missionaries in Papua New Guinea with New Tribes Mission. The following is an excerpt from their most recent newsletter: Greetings from PNG! We recently enjoyed getting together with all of our co-workers in this
region as we met for our annual conference. The day after conference ended was Bart’s birthday and one of his presents was a helicopter ride. Okay, it wasn’t really a present but he did get to take a helicopter ride. He and some other guys went into one of the tribal works for four days to help a family with a building project. They were able to be a big blessing as helping with this project meant that the family could more quickly get back into full-time language study. There are an incredible number of tribes that are still unreached with the Gospel but first a series of surveys need to be done in each of those places. As a family we continue to investigate and evaluate several different options that the Lord has brought our way as possibilities for getting into a tribe. Thank you for your prayers. www.ntm.org/bart_allen |
