I am still a chaplain in the US Navy. We have been stationed in US
Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan, these past 3 years (from Dec 2006 to Nov
2009). We have been back in the States since then to a new assignment
with the USMC, with 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, Miramar, CA. My children
are settled into a new school and a new place. Now I find myself
deployed to Afghanistan! I have 3 prayer requests: 1) The safety of our
Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen currently in the combat-zone
around the world, 2) The salvation of the Marines and Sailors I
minister to daily who do not know the Lord, and 3) The safety of my
family: wife, Yoonha, and children, Anna (9), Aaron (7), and Andrew (1),
while I am gone. May God abundantly bless you as you are a blessing to
me and my family as prayer partners. Johan Baik (Class of '91) Chaplain, US Navy (Currently serving with Marines in Afghanistan) combatchaplain@hotmail.com |
