Alex and Chris Kuhlow (dorm parents 1998-2008) “Our new ministry is a non-profit organization Alex started under the Lord’s direction called Threads of Hope. We are currently serving with First Love International Ministries. Our plans are to return to Manila July 19, 2009 to continue facilitating the livelihood project, be a support to the new Filipino pastor who has moved down to shep- herd the new believers, and bring teams of people to minister to the community of Aninuan. Chris will be filling in for the amazing Dave French teaching high school art while he is on a 6-month furlough. Their children who attended Faith are Ashley ‘05, 22 and Joey ‘07, 20, who both live in Wisconsin. Ashley is teaching math part time at a Christian school as well as working at a sandwich shop; and Joey is working for a company that repairs damaged cement. Both have been involved in selling bracelets for Threads of Hope, as well as promoting the ministry in various areas. They attend our home church and are doing great.”
